Dog Head Drag Characterization

As a part of the ME30801 Fluids Lab at Purdue University, my team and I were given the opportunity to conduct our own fluids experiment, and we settled on working to determine how aerodynamic a dog sticking its head out of a window would be.

We conducted wind tunnel tests up to 43.35 m/s then using dynamic similarity, we determined the drag coefficient as a function of Reynolds numbers across a variety of angles of attack.
